Sun city, Jodhpur is dominated by the massive Mehrangarh fort. Jodhpur is the second largest city of Rajasthan. The beauty and imagination of the creative genius that has gone in making this city appears incongruent with the harshness of this land and its climate. An ancient trade center, this place is still a leading center foe cattle, camels, wood, salt etc. While in Jodhpur mark the building, they are not made of bricks rather from a particular type of stone which is found in this area. The monuments, temples, gardens, lakes of Jodhpur depicts a multi faceted grandeur.
A place which symbolises the chivalry, heroism, matchless courage and Rajput pride. The Chittaurgarh fort has been witness to the glory and pride of Rajputs which was defended at any price and to the last man standing. The scarred and shattered temples and palaces, gateways and memorials are silent spectator to the spectacle which this place was a witness to. On a rocky tablel and stands the almost unblemished Vijay Stambh or Victory Tower, a fitting symbol of Rajput courage and death defying pride.

This holy mountain retreat overlooks an arid region strewn by huge rocks with smooth surfaces and weired shapes. An altitude of 1220 m endows Abu with a pleasant climate. Mt. Abu was dedicated to Shiva before it became a jain pilgrimage. The greatest draw of Abu arethe Dilwara temples. Half hidden by mango groves, their sober exteroir belies the wealth of their interior ornamentation. Wondurously carved in marble, the Dilwara temples enshrine various jain 'tirthankaras'.
The life of holy city of Pushkar revolves around the Pushkar lake. Legend goes that this lake was formed when a lotus fell from hands of Lord Brahma. Every year a fair is organised on the banks of this lake. This fair attracts visitor from far and wide. The Bathing Ghats build along the banks are by various names and each carries a unique significance attached to itself.
