WHEN TO GO
Best time to travel Pushkar is during the Pushkar Fair and between October to March. The Pushkar Camel Fairs is scheduled from 29th October to 5th November in 2006. If you are planning to travel there in the fair then book your hotels/tents in advance before 5-6 months.


The luxury tents combine innovative designs that demonstrate many skills and crafts of rajasthan. We have 15 custom made tents each with verandah, bedroom and bathroom. Each tent consists of an outer verandah with deck chairs, table and electric lantern where one can relax sipping morning or evening tea. The bedroom has two single beds with two bedside tables & night reading lamps, a writing table & chair and a dressing table with mirror and 'durries' to cover the floor. Each tent also has an attached bathroom with a water closet and overhead shower. The sleeping area can be curtained off with mosquito nets, if desired, and there are four windows with netting and blinds for ventilation.

The Campfire is the focal point for the evening entertainment programme and rhythms of the Thar-music, dancing, magic shows, puppet shows, jugglers, flaming torches and camel parades.

Custom-made camps can also be especially arranged for exclusive groups in any of the exotic locations of your choice - old forts, desert sands, mountains, lakes or jungle - provided a minimum of two nights and 15 tents.
